Profile Statement

Billie started ballet at four years old. She performed in various dance performances at a young age. She also did rhythmic gymnastics, and at the age of ten, won the second prize in the Hong Kong Open competition.

Modern dance is one of her favourites. She completed the advanced level modern dance workshop in 1998, organized by the City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC). Billie won the Honours Award for four consecutive years in the Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival, from 1997 to 2000.

After graduating from Griffith University, Australia in Hotel Management, Billie chose to work in the field of education. She has been teaching ballet for ten years now. A dedicated mother of two, she loves her work and enjoys the company of many children.

Billie completed the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) in 2011 with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) under the mentorship of Cindy Rengan. Also a qualified Kindermusik International Educator, Billie hopes to promote and share the fun and joy of dance with her young students.
